Easter scratch winner Ross Harrington
Former South Sydney rugby league Bunny star Ross Harrington is now the Lithgow Golf Club top bunny after taking out the Harvey Norman Easter Tournament scratch title while inform golfer Greg Dykes was successful in the handicap section.
Harrington returned a scratch score of 72 which could have been even better had he not incurred a shot penalty after running over his ball in his cart when searching for it.
Dykes after a couple of recent health issues is back better than ever and carded a handicap winning score of 65 nett.
The grade winners and runners up were:
A-grade: Rod Bright 69 nett and Andrew Burton 72 nett.
B-grade: Brett Roach 68 nett on a countback from Dave Hicks.
C-grade: Brad Preston 71 on a countback from Rod Clarke.
Nearest to the pin awards went to Bill Oldfield (2), Ron Evans, Brian Judge and Tom Jennings.
Balls in the ball competition went to those with 73 nett neat.
A big thanks goes out to Harvey Norman for their continued support.
