A big field at the Lithgow Golf Club had the choice to play in the annual Keno Two Person Ambrose or a single stableford.
As has been the case over the past couple of months conditions were extremely tough with soggy fairways and very quick greens.
The wet fairways does not effect the big hitters as much as those who are in the average bracket who are continually hitting long irons into the greens.
The winners of the ambrose was the team of Troy Luka and David Marshall who are two of the lowest markers in the field. Playing off a handicap of 2.5 The pair shot around of 67 off the stick and with their handicap finished with a score of 64.5 nett. Luka and Marshall have a good record together playing in Ambrose’s and their score was outstanding considering the tough conditions.
