Last Wednesday the Ladies played a stableford event for Kim Burton’s trophy. The game was affected by lightning and thunder but not a lot of rain. The players came into the Clubhouse when the lightning was striking all around. The decision was made to just play the comp as it stood and not cancel play. Olwyn King had the most points for the holes her group played so was the winner, on a count back with 28 points. Ball winners were Lynne Ritchie, Rhonda Thompson, Janice Cohen and Robyn Houlison.
Friday the modified stableford was played and the winner was Marie Hackett with 21 points. Marie has just returned from a road trip around Victoria so the break must have done her good. Balls were won by Lynne Ritchie 19 pts and Judi Moore 18 on a count back from Jennifer Wild.
This Wednesday is a short course event for trophies provided by Anne Doohan and on Sunday is the Lithgow Open Day which is open to women players to compete.
Coming events: Presentation Day and Christmas Luncheon is on 17th December.
Summer Comp beginning on 19th December to Wednesday 21st January 2026.
