Results Week Ending 19th April 2026

The Lithgow Golf Course was a busy place to be with a big field contesting a single stableford plus the running of the Mixed Foursomes sponsored by LJ Hooker Lithgow with golfers being met with some slick greens.
It was good to see a number of visitors enjoying the picturesque Lithgow course and two really had a good day taking out two of the three grades.
From the Kew Country Club a course that is 30 minutes south of Port Macquarie was former Lithgowite Bailey Marshall (6) who was the A grade winner with a score of 41 points.
Marshall had a strong back nine with a par nine 22 points and was particularly happy after beating his father Michael and uncle David by a large margin.
Runner up was Brodie Carter (9) with 39 points with Carter playing consistent golf of late to get him into A grade.
Winner of B grade was one of the club’s midweek sponsors Daniel Buckens (12) who had to survive a countback with runner up Jai Osborne (14) with both golfers finishing with 37 points.
The winner of C grade was visitor Zachariah Jones (19) from the Leura Golf Club who registered the best stableford score of the day — a round of 42 points.
Runner up on 41 points was Tom Fraser (22) points continuing good recent form.
Vouchers went to Ross Harrington, Harry Bender (69 off the stick), Don Wolfenden, Neil Hutchinson, Nathan Harris, Brett Scanlon, Paul Bailey, Blake Bender, Matthew Dickson and Ryan Gurney. Cut was 26 points neat.
Nearest to the pins were: 2nd hole David Thompson (148cms); 4th Ken Mitchell (65cms); 9th Rod Clarke (78cms); 13th Jarryd Clarke (510cms) and 18th Bailey Marshall (323cms).
Saturday’s event will be the April Monthly Medals.
Sparks Finance Wednesday competitions:
Winner was Wayne Morris on 21 points.
Runner up was Steve Jennings counting out Cameron Hann after both finished on 20 points.
Vouchers went to Chris Goodsell, Ian Downey and Greg Guest. Cut was 18 ocb.
Nearest to the pins were Greg Guest and Peter Williams.
The GA 18 hole winner was Carlos Garibotto on 38 points with the runner title going to Dave Titcume on 24 points.
The Friday Central West Leak Detection 9 hole competition:
Winner was Don Farnsworth on 24 points.
Runner up was Evan Carter from Ross King after both carded 20 points.
Vouchers went to Max Nightingale and Craig Pugsley. Cut was 19 points ocb.
