The unpredictable weather continues to test golfers with temperatures plummeting overnight for the Ladies Wednesday event but the good news was that the predicted rain did not eventuate allowing for a fun event for the ladies.
The event was a Mulligans stroke event and it was Leonie Hughes (30) who worked out when the best time to use her Mulligans.
Hughes finished with a very good 72 nett with her excellent score on the front nine setting up her win.Her score as all the better considering the fairways were wet which cut down any run making the course very long.
Others to play well were last week’s winner Julie Rosewarne, Kim Burton and Julie Murnane. Cut was 76 nett.
