It was another big field who turned out for a single stableford event staged on Saturday (Oct 24) with 20 of the 77 golfers breaking or playing to their handicap.
The field was split into three grades with the A grade winner after a countback was Brett Nightingale (7) with a score of 39 points.
His round featured five birdies with a back nine of 21 points that gave him the countback over runner up John Bird(6) who also finished with 39 points. Bird had a brilliant front nine and was four under par after five holes finishing his nine with 22 points.
Winner of B grade was Peter Dykes (17) who shared the best stableford score of the day with 40 points. His back nine of 23 points was more than enough to secure his countback win.
